Yesterday at MSP hit 76 with a low of 56 and no rain, which is about as good as late October gets. Tonight stays mild too: partly cloudy with a low around 62 and a south-southeast wind around 15 mph.
Saturday opens mostly sunny with a high near 75. Then the forecast turns. After 2pm there's a 50% chance of rain showers, and temperatures are expected to slip to around 68 in the afternoon. Southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph, will make the Washington Avenue Bridge a breezier crossing than usual. If you have plans on the Mall or anywhere outside, the morning is your window.
Saturday night gets mostly cloudy with a 50% chance of showers before 4am. The low falls to around 47 and the wind swings around to the north-northwest at 5 to 10 mph. If you're out late, bring a real jacket and maybe an umbrella for the wait at the Green Line platform.
The warm spell ends there. Sunday's high is near 54, with a 30% chance of showers between 7am and 10am. Monday looks like the soggier day: showers are likely (60%), the high is near 50, and a tenth to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.
