It's been a big month for the Gophers in the classroom. Minnesota produced 126 Big Ten Distinguished Scholars, per Gopher Sports, a mark that spans the full breadth of the athletic department and underscores just how deep the academic commitment runs across every roster on campus.
The individual and team honors piled up alongside that number. Wrestling's McEnelly earned Academic All-America honors, according to Gopher Sports, adding a classroom accolade to a program that's used to being recognized for what happens on the mat.
Gymnastics saw a pair of Gophers land on the CSC Academic All-America list. Manon Field and Sarah Moraw were both named CSC Academic All-Americans, per Gopher Sports, a nice bookend to the gymnastics program's spring.

Women's golf got its turn too, with Finley and McCauley earning WGCA All-American Scholar honors from the Women's Golf Coaches Association, according to Gopher Sports.
The tennis program picked up team-wide recognition, with the Gophers honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for academic excellence, per Gopher Sports.
And men's basketball closed out the run of good news, with the program honored by the National Association of Basketball Coaches for academic success, according to Gopher Sports.
