The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum landed a spot on KSTP's Minnesota Live on Friday, July 10, with the show broadcasting live from the arboretum's grounds in Chaska.
Host Meg led the segment, playing up the grounds as one of the state's premier botanical destinations. "Minnesota Live is blooming with beauty today as the show heads out into one of the most breathtaking gardens in the entire state," she said on air, per KSTP.
The segment kept things light on specifics — no rundown of which gardens or collections got airtime — and instead pointed viewers to arb.umn.edu for more on what's actually growing out there this season.
The University of Minnesota's news office also flagged the appearance on its own site, listing it under the Twin Cities campus news feed for the week of July 10.
The Arboretum, one of the university's public-facing research and horticulture properties, regularly turns up in local coverage during the summer as a go-to spot for gardens, trails, and outdoor programming southwest of the Twin Cities.
